Couplings are used wherever there are intersections in media supply systems that need to be regularly disconnected. The challenge for machine and plant manufacturers is finding the right coupling system for their specific project: the right size, with the materials required for the application and with the desired functionality.
A uniquely extensive range for a myriad of applications
Parker Rectus knows the extremely diverse requirements for connection technology in device, machine and plant engineering and meets them with a complete and comprehensive range of products. Parker Rectus couplings are available in nominal widths of 1.5 to 30 mm. Manufactured from brass, stainless steel or plastic (POM and PVDF), the couplings are also available without surface treatment, nickel-plated, zinc-plated or with a different surface treatment, to meet your every need. The sealings are made of NBR, EPDM, FKM and FFKM, depending on the model.
The right valve technology and the right connection
The Parker Rectus product palette spans a temperature range from -40°C to +240°C. And users also have a choice when it comes to the valves, as the Parker Rectus couplings are available with straight-through, single or double shut-off and flat-sealing valve options and can be connected via female thread, male thread, hose connection or bulkhead connection, depending on your requirements.
Coded to prevent mix-ups
Using a coded system ensures that the right coupling is connected to the right plug, preventing mix-ups when connecting circuits with multiple separation points. The coding itself can be achieved through colours (blue, red, green, yellow) and/or mechanically using form closure.
No loss of media – no environmental contamination
The use of flat-sealing coupling systems and coupling systems with double shut-off is recommended for all applications where loss of media when coupling or uncoupling cannot be tolerated. What’s more, these valve types prevent the surrounding area from being contaminated when establishing the connection.
